This just in! You are looking at the 2012 Notifier award winner in two categories. Midwest Alarm took the Diamond Distributor and Multi-Million Dollar awards at the Notifier ceremony in Orlando, FL on October 16th. What does this mean? We are one of the top six largest Notifier distributors in the country! To give you some perspective, the other five recipients of this award are located in highly populated, urban areas such as Manhattan, Dallas/Ft. Worth, St. Louis, Los Angeles, and DC. Don’t mind us, just making things happen from Des Moines, Iowa!

The Diamond Award is given to distributors who provide outstanding service and sales through the year. Of 300 Notifier distributors nationally, 36 awards were given in this category. While we accept and celebrate this award with great pride, we also recognize that there is always room for improvement. So, let us know what you think and how we can continuously improve our service to you by contacting us with your feedback.

We are honored to have received these awards. Thank you to all of our loyal customers for choosing Midwest Alarm Services - you helped put us on the life safety map. We hope to continue to be of service to you for many years to come!

Present at the Awards dinner were: Mike Duffy, Brad Duffy, Brian Duffy, Brian Jarnagin, Brian Kramer, Paul Bridges, Joe Gage and Dustin Smyth.

Recently our offices in Des Moines, Davenport and Madison partnered with Art Black, principal of Carmel Fire Protection Associates, in providing several AHJ’s, engineers, architects and business owners with information concerning the changes in NFPA 72 and how new technology is impacting fire alarm system communication.

NOTIFIER IntelliquadThe Notifier Advanced Multi-Criteria Fire/CO (FSC-851) detector combines our award-winning fire and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors into a single addressable device for an attractive, functional, and cost-effective fire/CO detection solution.

With the FSC-851 solution, you can consolidate multiple devices to require only a single footprint on the wall or ceiling.

The FSC-851 includes the world-class fire detection and unsurpassed nuisance immunity of our Advanced Multi-Criteria Fire Detector. It combines these capabilities with the award-winning features of our CO1224T CO detector, such as RealTest®, the first field functional CO test fully compliant with NFPA 720: 2009.

The FSC-851 works with the B200S intelligent sounder base to provide both Temp 3 and Temp 4 signals for fire and CO. The B200S can be synchronized with System Sensor AV devices and used as part of the evacuation signal.

With only one device to wire, which requires only one junction box and one address on the loop, the AMCF/CO provides significant savings on labor and materials.
